The meeting was short-lived - he was already going on the road from Irkutsk, where he was sent on his way from Poland to Oymyakon, which he considered the Pole of Cold on Earth. The temperature in January there was -67.7 degrees Celsius.
We talked on various topics, said goodbye and each went in his own direction. In parting, Marek gave us several stickers with his symbol - “White Wolf”.
The thermometer is marked up to -50 Celsius

In Yakutsk, the temperature on the highway reached -70 degrees Celsius.
Elsa was sent by a transport company to Moscow, from where Marek will return to Poland on her.

We sat, talked, drank coffee / lemonade, exchanged gifts and said goodbye, agreeing to see each other in the near future, when I can ride a motorcycle. And since I am not as frost-resistant as Marek, then most likely already next year.
P.S. Elsa is now in the motorcycle museum in Ukraine as an honored guest.

Third meeting with Marko PL 22.11.2025 in Warsaw.
A meeting of travelers was held in the Warsaw Palace of Culture — there were representatives from Poland and other European countries. Travel agencies, non-profit organizations, athletes — in short, everyone connected in one way or another with travel and tourism.
There were many presentations, and among the speakers on stage was our hero. Marek talked about his journeys — to Siberia, Nordkapp, Alaska… The presentation lasted about an hour, and although the hall was warm, his stories made it feel colder — the slides showed photos of Canada’s winter roads and the market in Yakutsk, where fish was simply hammered into wooden counters.
Marek also talked about preparing for such trips — because riding a motorcycle in such low temperatures requires a thorough approach and attention to details. Something that seems minor — a small malfunction at home — can become a serious danger on the road.
His experience is enormous — theory is tightly combined with practice.
After the presentation, I managed to take a photo with Marek and his motorcycle (this time his loyal companion was a Yamaha XT).
See you next time!
